None I have read imposed a direct attachement to a router. Which system requirements are listed there?Įven with early models of smart AV-devices, I've read some constraints on networks. And have you looked into the user manuals of these devices?.Sounds your devices are too old and too unreliable if showing such symptoms even for terrestrial signals. So what do you mean that your Samsung TV doesn't work at all when connected to your switch while working as expected when connected directly to router?.Some features would have needed additional subscriptions and key cards for DVB-T which I didn't want. I didn't test neither its DVB-S nor its DVB-C modes. I used mainly DVB-T for terrestrial receiption. And it worked without Internet access as well as with Internet access although only with Internet access, it supported its full feature set as far as my access technologies and contracts supported. If I remember right, I had an older Samsung TV too. ![]() If connected to the switch, they will not work at all.
